It’s been a little while since we last opened our doors at Cwm yr Hendy Lodges, and we wanted to take a moment to explain why, and to share the exciting news about what’s ahead.

Like many businesses and individuals, we’ve faced some tough times over the past few years. 

The pandemic changed everything for us, just as it did for so many others. During this period, we also experienced personal loss and difficulties, which understandably required our full attention. 

As you can imagine, it was a difficult chapter, one that not only challenged us but also made us appreciate the important things in life — health, family, and the beauty of the world around us.

Now, after taking the time we needed to heal and reflect, we’re filled with a deep sense of hope and gratitude as we look forward to the future. We’re incredibly excited to share that Cwm yr Hendy is entering a new chapter — one that’s filled with new beginnings, joy, and a sense of renewal.

A Special New Addition to the Cwm yr Hendy Family

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the arrival of baby Alfie! His birth has been the brightest light in what has been a challenging time, and his joyful presence is a constant reminder that brighter days are ahead. Alfie has already brought so much love and laughter into our lives, and we can’t wait for him to grow up surrounded by the natural beauty of Mid Wales — the same beauty that has made Cwm yr Hendy such a special place for so many of you.

His arrival also marks a fresh start, not just for us as a family, but for Cwm yr Hendy as well. We are so excited to welcome our guests back, and to once again share the peace, tranquillity, and magic of this beautiful corner of Mid Wales with you all.
